PlanCast (“the app”, “we”) is designed to respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles.
PlanCast has no account system and does not require sign-in. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal information. There are no third-party advertising or analytics trackers in the app.
Your plans (title, type, chosen location, date, reminder settings) and app preferences are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to any server owned by us.
When you search for a place or view a forecast, the place name and its coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo to retrieve weather data. These requests are used solely to return a forecast and are subject to Open-Meteo’s own terms. We do not attach any identifier to these requests.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server, and no notification content leaves your device.
PlanCast Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. Purchase validation is handled through Apple’s systems.
PlanCast is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
